Safe Sport Strategy for Provincial Sport Organizations Forum

Introduction to the Independent Third-Party Mechanism (ITM)

Hosted by the ASLA and SPAR Branch to introduce:

  • ASLA’s partnership with ALIAS-Solution for implementing an Alberta-based Independent Third-Party Mechanism (ITPM) to handle maltreatment complaints.

  • ASLA’s Policy Alignment partner, Blue Rock Law, providing guidance to Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs) in support of aligning internal policies to interact with the ITPM requirements.

Join us in shaping the new Safe Sport Strategy to help sport organizations prevent and eliminate harassment and abuse.


REGISTRATION Deadline*: Thursday, May 15 by 4:00 PM

*Each PSO is encouraged to send two representatives, preferably one volunteer board member and one staff member.
