ASLA is committed to a safe, incuslive, and well-run sport system across Alberta. We coordinate policy, education, and sector tools. Our Safe Sport Complain Mechanism providing the independent intake and case management. We protect privacy, support good-faith reporting, and make our resources simple to use for athletes, families, coaches, officials, and PSOs/MSOs.

Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders - Getting Started
Offers an engaging and easy-to-use online training course for sport leaders of all levels. The intent of this training is to:
Empower and educate youth leaders/coaches on the prevention of abuse, bullying, harassment and discrimination.
Build a holistic culture of respect within the sport community.
Provide fundamental training tools which enable ALL coaches and youth leaders to become even better role models for the young athletes in their care.
Respect in Sport for Parents - Getting Started
Compliments the Activity Leader & Coach program by reinforcing a parent's role in their child’s activities. It empowers parents to:
Ensure the safety and well-being of their children.
Encourage proper communication with officials and coaches.
