Skills required for ASLA Board

Our organization is transitioning from a startup phase where we operated with the efforts of only volunteer board members to incorporating paid staff into our operations and having the Board move toward being a governance board. We still need our board members to balance good board governance with some operations and administration skills.

We are looking for visionary, strategic and critical thinkers who are well networked in the province and ideally have previous board-related experience. We are also looking for persons who have strong administration, operations and ideally marketing and/or technology skills and could be available to support or pitch in on some of the operational tasks required to move the organization forward.

We welcome and encourage applications from individuals from equity-deserving groups, including Indigenous peoples, racialized individuals, women, persons with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
